Omg, I love this piece, that colours are amazing... But I think the tail fin could be lighter for sake of composition.
Also, I like the effect on the background jellyfishes.

Thank you! Note taken... this was actually a touched-up version of an older commission (I painted out a lot of lines from the previous one and tightened up the style). I figured the beam of light was in the "middle" shining down, but next time I'll frame it a little better so it shows more!

I'm not really a fan of the creaturey stuff you usually have as subjects (nothing wrong with it, just not something I'd look for), but your painting style is AWESOME. Like, holy crap.

Yeah, I almost never get to draw people (I think that's what you're referring to?), and I'm gonna try to get to that more. I have my own characters to put down on paper... and luckily, a secret santa I do monthly helps with the people.
