I promised her a birthday present a year ago, and I was still late. *shot* (but only by a few months) *shot again*
I was originally drawing her some FFXII art, but I couldn't get Balthier to work well in my style. >__> So I decided on happy ol' Lavi instead. 8D
My favorite part of this whole thing was the hatching. It makes it look like it has a lot more depth than it really does, not to mention it was fun to do. Suprisingly, it's easy to do this all on one layer in Photoshop. :0 *allowed her to save much-needed RAM for mp3 playing*

Tools: Photoshop CS2; Intuos3 Tablet
Time Taken: 5 hours-ish
