I had a burst of inspiration last night, and ended up JUST finishing this piece less than an hour ago. D8; *hand falls off*
Uh... IT'S A MINSTREL. And he's on the edge of a forest. SINGING TO A BIRD.  I think the border was the most IRRITATING thing to do... it was originally going to be plain, but I don't seem to be able to keep things plain for very long. I think it goes along nicely with the illustration, though. C: And thanks to  and  for shouting out some background ideas. *was totally stuck* xDI put my web address at the bottom so you guys could see the details more clearly... but please, don't repost this elsewhere without my permission.   Tools Used-- Ballpoint pen on cardstock + Photoshop Time Taken-- 7-9 hours References Used-- I needed one for the mandolin, and I used my medieval clothing books for the hat. XD |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
