Just a little something to help get rid of an artists' block I've been having. I used the third volume of CLAMP Campus/School Detectives, and the pages I used were written so I could used these for emotion references (I suck at emotion... as you can tell from my gallery XP). CLAMP also does a really good job with anatomy (well, it looks really cool X3)- something I hope to be good at someday. I also like the way they draw each individual page and still put on all them screen tones. That's some pretty cool stuff right there.

When I draw fan art, I usually try to imitate the original series' style (I draw more fanart than what I upload, but I'm too embarassed to post most of it ^^). This could potentially be a practice for a CCD/old-style X/Duklyon fanart. I feel sort of sad that CLAMP hasn't drawn any more X... I think they stopped around book 18 or so. Maybe it's because 1999 (aka end of the world XD) has already come and gone... many, many years ago. I wish they would at least tie up the story in one more book. x_X

Note: I know that I used direct references for the eyes (I even put up the page numbers, so you could see if you could guess which ones I used XD). I wanted to practice how CLAMP shaded their eyes without screen tones, as well as practice the style. Their eyes look really nice. ^^
